- Martin County
- Polybutylene repipes
Canals, a high water table and polybutylene pipe.
Palm City is one of Martin County's most desirable communities, and we serve it from our Port St. Lucie base just across the county line, close enough that Palm City is a routine stop for us.
Two local factors drive most of our Palm City work. First, the canal network and high water table make hidden and underground leaks a real concern, so non-invasive detection matters here more than most places. Second, a lot of Palm City homes from the late 1980s and early 1990s were plumbed with polybutylene (gray plastic) pipe, a known defective material that fails suddenly. Replacing PB and aging galvanized systems with modern PEX is one of our most common jobs in this area.
Palm City backflow compliance runs through Martin County Utilities. We also serve Stuart, Jensen Beach, Fort Pierce, and Port St. Lucie.
